From July 13th to 15th, the 2021 Youth Science Camp Energy Special Camp organized by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education was held at the Dalian Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The theme of this event was "Energy Lights the Future"

During the three-day event, Dalian Institute of Chemical Technology opened ten major themed laboratories related to photocatalysis, substance detection, thermoelectric conversion, adsorption materials, microscopic particle imaging, fluorescent dyes, renewable energy, and carbon resource small molecules.
This event set up "Scientists face-to-face: Start an energy journey" popular science report, "Chasing the source of energy: Collecting wisdom and exploring" laboratory immersion experience, "Speaking about the source of energy: thinking collision" and other links.
In the "immersive" experiment, the campers vigorously blow up the airbags, set up a test instrument platform by themselves to detect ammonia in the breath; convert heat energy into electrical energy for diversified use, and turn electrical energy into heat energy to provide a heat source for humans.
It is reported that the Youth University Science Camp was launched in 2012, aiming to give full play to the functions of universities and research institutes in disseminating scientific knowledge, scientific ideas, scientific methods and improving the scientific quality of young people, and lay a solid foundation for cultivating reserve talents for scientific and technological innovation
