3M State of Science Index Survey Report Released

According to Xiong Haikun, general manager of 3M R&D operations in Greater China, in terms of sustainable development, the Chinese people surveyed have paid more and more attention to environmental issues in the past year

In February 2021, 3M announced that it expects to invest approximately US$1 billion in the next 20 years to accelerate the realization of new environmental goals, including achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, reducing water consumption by 25% in all factories worldwide, and improving production drainage Water quality to reduce the impact on the environment

In addition, in terms of sharing responsibilities, 3M has persisted in opening the 3M China R&D Center to students during the summer vacation and inviting them to approach and experience science in the past few years

It is reported that the State of Science Index is a third-party independent study initiated by 3M, which has been surveyed every year for the past 4 years to track people’s attitudes towards science
