The PDH unit of Sierbang Petrochemical adopts the internationally advanced propane dehydrogenation to propylene process, and the scale of a single set ranks in the forefront of the industry

"The commissioning of the PDH unit means that we can achieve the complementary advantages of 'methanol to olefins' and 'propane dehydrogenation to propylene' in the acquisition of propylene raw materials, and can flexibly adjust the production capacity of MTO and PDH units according to the market conditions of methanol and propane.

At present, combined with the first phase of MTO (methanol to olefins) plant, the overall production capacity of Sierbang propylene has been increased to 1.

With the national goal of "double carbon" and the continuous advancement of the construction of large wind and photovoltaic bases, the new energy industry has developed rapidly, and the demand for acrylonitrile and downstream carbon fiber materials is continuously increasing

As the core supplier of the domestic acrylonitrile industry, the current production capacity of Sierbang acrylonitrile reaches 780,000 tons/year, accounting for about 22% of the country, ranking first in China, ensuring the raw material supply of more than 50% of carbon fiber manufacturers in China
