Agricultural and Rural Affairs (Agriculture and Animal Husbandry), Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Departments (bureaus and committees) of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
In order to implement the requirements of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Animal Epidemic Prevention and the Opinions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Promoting the Purification of Animal Diseases (Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Fa [2021] No.
29), our Ministry organized and carried out the construction of
animal disease purification plants in 2022.
After voluntary application by farms, provincial assessment and recommendation, and ministerial expert review, 72 farms in 18 provinces including Beijing are now identified as the second batch of national animal disease purification farms
.
All localities are requested to do a good job in the management of national animal disease purification plants as required, strengthen supervision and guidance, and continuously improve the level of
biosecurity in the breeding process.
