    On May 20 , 2022 , Professor Yin Yuxin's team from Peking University School of Basic Medicine published a research paper titled " E xtracellular vesicles from lung tissue drive bone marrow neutrophil recruitment in inflammation " in the Journal of Extracellular Vesicle.


    EVs have been recognized in recent years as biomarkers for many diseases and as carriers of long-distance communication between cell.


    The lung is an important respiratory hematopoietic org.


    To solve the above problems, Yin Yuxin 's team successfully established an efficient method to collect high-quality EVs from human and mouse normal lung tissue.


    Further studies confirmed the presence of dsDNA both inside and outside the membranes of lung EV.

    In conclusion , this study established a high-quality separation and purification system for lung tissue EVs , which can accurately delineate their molecular composition and be used to study their distal regulatory functions in viv.


    Liu Bowen, a doctoral student at Peking University School of Basic Medicine , and Jin Yuan, a postdoctoral fellow at Peking University School of Basic Medicine are the co-first authors of the paper, and Professor Yin Yuxin from the Institute of Systems Biomedicine, Peking University School of Basic Medicine is the corresponding auth.
