Academician Jin Guofan recalled his past with Mr.
Wang Daheng, and recounted three trivial things:
 

　　The two academicians have traveled together several times, and when faced with hotels with different conditions, Mr.
Wang Daheng's first thought was not his own comfort and ease, but to save money for the country and live in a hotel with relatively poor conditions but cheaper;

Wang Daheng did not only focus on the optical field he was good at, but from the perspective of the country, he put forward strategically highly constructive opinions such as the "big plane", and did not care about other people's criticisms;
 

　　In order to expand the influence of China's scientific research achievements in the international arena, Mr.
Wang Daheng initially contacted Chinese Americans for help, and at the same time called on domestic colleagues to accumulate network resources, gradually forming a situation where the Chinese were completely independent to hold international conferences

Wang Daheng took him and ten other scientists to write letters to the central leadership, hoping to attach importance to the instruments produced by China
