Academy of Sciences and former president of
Beijing
University, was invited to give a keynote speech entitled "The Current Situation and Future Trends of Agricultural Development in China" at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Zhang Synthesis, secretary of the Party Group of the Academy, attended the report meeting.
Xu Zhihong, through detailed data and typical cases, based on China's eyes on the world, has interpreted the achievements and challenges of China's agricultural development in detail, and looked forward to the application of new technologies such as system science, biotechnology, information technology, Internet of Things technology and other new technologies in the future agricultural development. He pointed out that the imbalance and non-matching distribution of global arable land and population determine that China must make full use of global trade to meet multi-level needs under the premise of ensuring basic rations in order to solve the food security problem. In the new era, China's residents will pay more attention to nutrition health and food diversification, China's agricultural development should further meet the supply of high-quality agricultural products, improve the level of processing of agricultural products, improve the industrial chain, strengthen market leadership.
