Asia Cleaning Investment Corporation (ACC) has signed a distributed power agreement with Nivea (Shanghai), a leading skincare company, to build a rooftop solar system and solar parking shed
at Nivea's factory in Qingpu, Shanghai.
Under the terms of the agreement, ACC will invest 100% of the system cost and undertake the design, construction and long-term system maintenance
.
Nivea aims to reduce the consumption of water, energy and rare raw materials in the production and sale and will benefit from the self-consumption
of a generation of solar projects.
Power from the solar system will be supplied to Nivea Shanghai at a competitive rate to ensure operating cost
savings over the life of the system.
ACC Senior Vice President said, "We are excited to partner with Nivea to develop this solar system, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration to drive sustainability
in the skincare industry.
