technology.Agarose gel electrophoresis technology is an important experimental method for the determination of
molecular weight and molecular composition of
DNA molecular fragments, as well as DNA separation and purification. DNA molecules are subjected to frictional resistance from electric field forces and gels when swimming in agarose gel electrophoresis. In general, double-stranded DNA per unit length carries an almost equal charge, so at a certain electric field strength, the migration rate of the DNA molecule depends on the frictional resistance of the gel, i.e. the size and configuration of the DNA molecule itself. The migration rate of DNA molecules is inversely related to the pair value of relative molecular weight, and DNA fragments of different lengths are separated due to their different speed of swimming. DNA molecules with the same first-level structure but different configurations can also be isolated in this way.
Ethyl bromide (EB) is a fluorescent dye that emits red fluorescence at a wavelength of 590nm under ultraviolet light, and when DNA
    moles
forms a fluorescent concoction with EB, it emits dozens of times more fluorescence than before, often to observe the location of DNA stripes in the gel.
