Sinochem News recently, Air Liquide Engineering and Construction announced that it will continue to cooperate with Samsung Engineering to build a methanol production plant for Sarawak Petchem
.

Sarawak Petchem is a Malaysian state-owned oil and gas company established and owned by the Sarawak State Government of Malaysia

It is reported that the methanol plant will be located in Bintulu, Sarawak, eastern Malaysia.
It can produce 5,000 tons of methanol per day.
The plant uses the proprietary process technology of Air Liquide Engineering and Construction to convert natural gas into methanol
.

As part of the agreement, Air Liquide Engineering and Construction Company will become a technology licensor, while providing engineering and related equipment, as well as an air separation plant with a daily output of 2,200 tons of oxygen
