Sinochem Xinnet News recently, Air Liquide Group and Jiangsu Shagang Group signed a new long-term industrial gas supply agreement in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province
    .

Air Liquide Group will invest about 100 million euros to build a world-scale air separation plant in its Zhangjiagang plant.

It is reported that this advanced factory will use low-carbon energy and will significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the future
    .

The new air separation unit will also produce krypton and xenon to meet the growing needs of the electronics industry, while supplying gas for the group's general industrial business in China

At the same time, under this 20-year long-term contract, Air Liquide will build, own and operate an advanced new air separation unit with a daily oxygen production capacity of 3,800 tons
    .

This is the largest single air separation unit in the global steel industry and the largest air separation unit of Air Liquide Group in China

According to another report, this new air separation unit is equipped with the proprietary solution Alive, which can store 60MW of electricity per day, which will help improve the flexibility of electricity use and the reliability of gas supply
    .

At the same time, this device will replace the old air separation device on the customer site, and gradually increase the proportion of low-carbon energy use, reducing the carbon footprint of this flagship factory

In addition, the device will also become an important source of krypton and xenon for the group to meet the growing needs of the electronics industry
    .

The Zhangjiagang plant will also become Air Liquide’s largest producer of liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen in China, and the ultra-pure oxygen produced can supply small and medium-sized liquid and cylinder gas customers in East China, including local hospitals that require high-purity medical oxygen
