Air Products Cummins advances hydrogen fuel truck application

Sinochem News on July 26, Air Products and Cummins, a global leader in power and hydrogen technology, jointly announced that the two parties have signed a memorandum of understanding to accelerate the application of hydrogen fuel cell trucks in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Cummins will provide Air Products with a hydrogen fuel cell electric power system that will be integrated on the selected OEM's heavy-duty truck model

After successfully completing the verification and pilot phase, Air Products plans to convert approximately 2,000 trucks in its global fleet into zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell vehicles

Both parties expect the verification operation of the fleet to start in 2022
