    Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a progressive chronic inflammatory disease affecting all age groups that, if left untreated, can lead to fibrotic strictures of the esophagu.


    This is a nationwide cohort study based on a large sampl.


    Findings showed that the median age at EoE diagnosis was 39 years, and 76% of EoE patients were mal.


    This study confirms that people with EoE may be at greater risk for psychiatric disorders compared to siblings and the general populatio.
