On June 21, AkzoNobel
celebrated the 10th anniversary of the establishment of its Ningbo Diversified Base in China. Since its completion, the site has developed into AkzoNobel's largest professional chemicals base in China, with more than 500 employees.

Ningbo City, located 200 kilometers south of Shanghai, is the economic center of the southern yangtze River Delta, and its port is one of the largest in the world. Ningbo diversified base covers an area of 50 hectares, there are 6 factories to produce chelates, ethylene amines, cellulose derivatives, organic peroxides and surfactants and other important chemical products. The site is currently being expanded to increase production of isopropyl dioxide (DCP) to 38,000 tonnes per year by 2019.
Hassou Noble Specialty Chemicals has been investing in plants in China since the early 1990s. The company currently has 1300 employees, set up production bases in 8 cities in China, the business area reached full coverage.
