(1) Anti-scaling mechanism
ATMP can dissociate into 6 positive ions and 6 negatively charged ions in water, and can form a polycyclic chelate with Ca 2+ and Mg 2+ in water.
This macromolecular chelate is loosely dispersed in water.
The normal crystallization of calcium and magnesium scale is destroyed

Therefore, the water of ATMP of calcium carbonate , magnesium silicate , calcium sulfate has good scale inhibition and the like
(2) Used as scale and corrosion inhibitor
ATMP is generally used as a scale inhibitor for circulating cooling water, oilfield water injection and printing and dyeing water.
As a scale inhibitor, the concentration is less than 10mg/L, and as a corrosion inhibitor, the concentration is greater than 100mg/L
.
In addition, ATMP can be used in conjunction with a variety of buffers and scale inhibitors

When the total dosage is 4mg/L, when the mass ratio of PASP and ATMP is 1:1, the scale inhibition effect is the best
(3) Other uses
ATMP can also be used as a metal cleaner to remove grease on metal surfaces.
It is also used as an additive for detergents, a masking agent for metal ions, an additive for non-cyanide electroplating, and an extractant for precious metals
