Deep UV nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal is the key crystal material to achieve deep UV laser output through frequency doubling effect, which has important applications in the field of optoelectronics Traditionally, the exploration of new deep UV NLO crystal materials focuses on π - conjugation system Recently, more and more attention has been paid to non π conjugated deep UV NLO crystal materials Among them, sulfate belongs to non π conjugated compounds However, the study of sulfate as deep UV NLO crystal material has been ignored for a long time Luo Junhua, research team of inorganic optoelectronic functional crystal materials, State Key Laboratory of structural chemistry, Fujian Institute of material structure, Chinese Academy of Sciences Supported by NSFC general program, China Association for science and technology youth talent project and Fujian Distinguished Young Scholars fund, two kinds of deep UV NLO crystals NH 4 Nali 2 (so 4) 2 with [so 4] 2 - as basic structural unit were prepared by using simple aqueous solution method to introduce alkali metals and ammonium into non π conjugated sulfate system And (NH 4) 2 Na 3 li 9 (so 4) 7 Among them, the transmission band of NH 4nali 2 (so 4) 2 single crystal can be as low as 186 nm, and it shows good NLO performance Its octave effect intensity is 1.1 KDP, and it can achieve phase matching This work expands the development of deep UV NLO optical crystal materials by using new non π conjugated primitives Relevant research results are published in J am Chem SOC (J am Chem SOC., 2019, 141, 3833-3837) The corresponding authors are Luo Junhua, Zhao Sangen and Lin zheshai, Institute of physical and chemical technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
