    1) Liquid liquid extraction (LLE)

    LLE is an extraction method often used in BMZs residue analysis


    Ethyl acetate uses more organic solvents


    Studies have found that acetonitrile is also an effective extraction solvent for BMZs in animal tissues


    There are also reports of using other solutions to extract BMZs


    2) Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE)

    SFE is a technology that uses supercritical fluid as an extractant to separate an extract from the matrix


    3) Pressurized liquid extraction (PLE)

    PLE is also called accelerated solvent extraction (ASE), which is an automated method for extracting solid or semi-solid with organic solvents at higher temperature (50-200°C) and pressure (1000-3000 psi)
