    Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC), is a chronic, progressive intestinal disease with no cur.


    We prospectively followed 12 months of IBD patients undergoing ileocolonoscop.


    A total of 172 patients (100 with Crohn's disease, 91 women) were recruited for this stud.


    This study confirms that DSI is associated with psychological distress, impaired QoL, and can predict a more complex course in IBD patient.
