[China Epoxy Resin Industry Online] June 24, 2005: After a period of adjustment, the Asian acetone market finally stopped falling and stabilized.
Experts believe that this may mark the end of the Asian acetone downturn since this year, and it is expected to be in a longer period of time.
It is positive.

Since the beginning of this year, the price of chemical solvents has fallen, led by acetone, one of the reasons is the excessive growth of production capacity.

Among them, nearly 400,000 tons/year of new production capacity was put into use in Asia from March to April, including the 90,000 tons/year installation of Kumho P&B Chemical in South Korea, the 110,000 tons/year installation of LG Chemical, and the 75,000 tons of Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical Company in China.
