BASF India plans to double the production capacity of polymer dispersions with a new production line in Dahui, Gujarat

“We are seeing growing demand for the latest generation of innovations, including low VOC and low odor dispersions

"This new investment will double production capacity by early 2021.

This will be the driving force behind our customers' growth in South Asia's fast-growing economies," said Narayan Krishnamohan, Managing Director, BASF India Ltd.

BASF started producing polymer dispersions in Dah, Gujarat, in October 2014, and currently operates a production line at the plant

In addition to South Asia, BASF will double its production capacity at its Pasir Gudang plant in Malaysia to support growing demand for acrylic resin dispersions in ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand
