    BASF launches Zampro, a combination of fenoxam and dimethomorph in Brazil

    World Agrochemical Network Chinese website: Recently, BASF announced at the 27th Hortitec Horticultural Technology Expo that it will launch the fungicide Zampro (300g/L azopyrim + 225g/L dimorpholine SC) in Brazi.
    Hortitec is Latin America's largest exhibition for horticulture, conservation planting and intensification crop.
     
    According to BASF, Zampro is a new fungicide for the control and management of diseases such as late blight and mildew in different crops, with a focus on tomato, grape and potato cro.
     
    The product is a contact-killing systemic fungicide suitable for controlling crop foliar diseas.
    The product has a dual mode of action, in which the active ingredient pyraclostrobin effectively inhibits electron transport in the mitochondria of fungi, and dimethomorph inhibits the formation of the fungal cell wall, enabling control of fungi at all developmental stag.
     
    According to BASF, the fungicide "has an effective preventive effect on all stages of the fungus, making it more practical and flexible to use throughout the crop cycle, maintaining the health of the plantation and enabling it to reach its greater production potentia.
