Begg China announces 4% price increase for paints, affected by consumption tax levy

However, given that most Chinese coating manufacturers do not have the appropriate equipment to use low VOC coatings or
water-based coatings
and will continue to use more than 42% of volatile organic compounds, Berger will continue to supply customers and transfer the increased costs to clients.
