    On April 20, the Belgian government announced that it would double the area available for offshore wind farms in the North Sea after 2020 as part of

    by 2025 due to a series of technical problems in the reactors.

    As offshore wind farm construction and operating costs fall in other European countries, De Backer said he believes future wind projects will not require any state subsidies
