    in Telangana.

    Located in Telangana's Suryapet district, the hydropower project establishes a greenfield project
    for Telangana Power Generation Company Limited (TSGENCO) on the Krishna River.
    The power generation of Pulichintala HEP will greatly contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving the country's low-carbon development path

    BHEL was commissioned to execute the electromechanical (E&M) packaging for the project, including the supply and supervision of the installation and commissioning of four 30 kW capacity vertical Kaplan turbines and generators, as well as related ancillary equipment

    The equipment for the project was manufactured and supplied by BHEL in Bhopal, Jhansi, Rudrapur and Bengaluru, while the installation and commissioning of the site was carried out
