    At present, the association between unhealthy eating habits and gastrointestinal diseases has been reported.


    Taking into account the relationship between eating habits and gastrointestinal diseases, this study aims to explore whether eating habits affect the disease activity of UC patients.


     

    In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the researchers conducted a survey of food habits for all participants, and obtained data on fast eating, overeating and not eating breakfast from the self- management questionnaire.

    At the end of the study, a total of 294 UC patients were enrolled, and fast eating speed was negatively correlated with MH: the adjusted odds ratio (OR) was 0.

    At the end of the study, the author said: Although the healthy eating habits have little to do with the clinical remission of UC patients, unhealthy eating habits are obviously related to the healing of the intestinal mucosa of UC patients! Still have to eat well!
