It is widely believed, HPV preventive vaccine may not vaccinated when infected female HPV incidence of new infections and related diseases.
Prevent infection
The study was conducted in Jiangsu Province, China, and included 168 (vaccine, n = 87; placebo, n = 81) women who underwent resection, and evaluated HPV vaccination for preventing subsequent infections and cervical lesions after resection in women (LSIL+ and CIN2+).
The results showed that vaccination has a significant preventive effect on 14 high-risk HPV (HR-HPV) infections obtained after treatment (vaccine efficacy: 27.
In summary, the study did not find that the HPV-16/18 AS04 adjuvant vaccine can clear the virus faster, nor did it find any effect on the persistent infection rate of women undergoing resection.
