    A consortium consisting of Boskalis Submarine Cable & Flex Cable (previously VBMS) and Amkit has signed a contract
    for the delivery and installation of export and array cable systems to the offshore wind farm project Triton Knoll.

    Project owner Innogy has made a final investment decision for the Triton Knoll offshore wind farm and the preferred supplier agreement signed in September 2017 has now been converted into a firm order
    for the consortium.

    Michael Hedegaard Lyng, President and CEO of Act, said: "With this firm order, I look forward to building further our partnership with Triton Knoll's project owners and becoming a key and reliable partner
    in the green transition of electricity supply in the UK and Europe.
    " We strongly believe that the offshore wind and interconnect market will grow further in the coming years to support ambitious European renewable energy targets
    .

    As mentioned earlier, the order represents a market price of approximately €115 million for Actor contracts, equivalent to a standard metal price of approximately €96 million
    .
    The value for Boscaris is around 90 million euros
    .

    The cables will be delivered
    in the fourth quarter of 2019 and the second quarter of 2020, respectively.

    Located in the southern North Sea off the east coast of the UK, the Triton Knoll offshore wind farm will be one of
    the most cost-effective and low-cost wind farm projects in the UK.
    When commissioned, Triton Knoll will power more than 800,000 homes
