International and local investors must submit bids
for the project by July 27, the sources said.

The solar power plant will be located near Ljubinje, Bosnia and is expected to sell 104 GWh of electricity
per year on the open market.
The winning operator will have a 50-year concession to operate the plant
.
Bosnia aims to generate 40 percent of its energy from renewable sources by 2020, up from 34 percent
currently as part of its EU membership plan.
Unlike other Balkan countries that rely on electricity imports to meet most of their needs, Bosnia is able to export electricity, largely thanks to its hydroelectric power
