    In addition to these three active ingredients that were registered for the first time, 29 other technical materials, so-called generic products, have obtained registration approval from the Brazilian Plant Health and Agricultural Inputs Department.
    The active ingredients contained in these technical products have previously been registered and used in Brazil.
     
    According to the information provided by the government, these products have been analyzed and approved by MAPA, the Brazilian Environment and Renewable Resources Agency (Ibama) and the National Health Supervision Agency (Anvisa).
    To this end, scientific standards have been analyzed and adjusted according to international best practices.
    Last year, Brazil registered a total of 172 technical products.
