Brightmark launches waste plastic chemical recycling project

Sinochem News recently, Brightmark, a global waste solutions provider, announced that the company will build the world's largest advanced waste plastic recycling and improvement facility in Macon-Bibb County, Georgia
.

The total investment in the new plant is expected to exceed 680 million U.

Brightmark said the company’s proven breakthrough closed-loop solution for waste plastics solutions directly converts plastic waste into useful products, including renewable fuels and waxes, and can also create a foundation for new plastics
.

It is reported that once the project is completed, 400,000 tons of plastic waste will be extracted from landfills and incinerators each year and converted into 64 million gallons (242,000 cubic meters) of ultra-low sulfur diesel and naphtha mixture, and 20 million gallons (about 76,000 cubic meters) of wax
