(People’s Daily) Cambodia’s “Thmey Thmey” news network quoted the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on September 7 and reported that from January to August 2021, the country has exported about 876,531 tons of cashew nuts , a year-on-year increase of about 350%.

Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries On Sakun revealed that Cambodian cashews sold to Vietnam accounted for 99% of the total exports, reaching nearly 870,000 tons

According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia, Cambodia exports about 3639 tons of cashew nuts to China.
Other export markets are Thailand, Japan, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, and Laos
.

Up to now, the total planting area of the top ten cashew nut-growing provinces in Cambodia has exceeded 500,000 hectares
.
The provinces with the largest area of cashew nut cultivation are approximately 90,959 hectares in Kompong Thom province and 47,858 hectares in Kratie province
.
