According to the "Procès-Verbal" agreement, the two countries meet annually to negotiate management measures, including the total allowable catch (TAC) of common fish in the North Atlantic.

Canadian Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and Coast Guard Bernadette Jordan stated that, in principle, an agreement has been reached with France on the number of cod fish in the 3Ps fishing season in 2021.
The two sides support the setting of 1,346 tons of TAC, which is a 50% reduction from last year.
