    The forecast value of rapeseed production is lowered by nearly 5 million tons

    Foreign media news on August 29: The August supply and demand report released by the Canadian Department of Agriculture and Agri- Food (AAFC) shows that Canadian crop production in 2021/22 will be significantly reduced, and the export forecasts of major grains , oilseeds and beans have been revised down .

     
    The output of Canada’s main crops in 2021/22 is expected to decrease by 27% compared with the previous year, and the total supply will decrease by 26% compared with the previous year because of the decline in initial stocks

    The drought in the prairie region in July increased significantly, and 74% of the agricultural production areas were in abnormal dryness or drought
    .
     
    Canada's rapeseed production in 2021/22 is expected to be 15 million tons, which is lower than the 19,885 million tons predicted in July and also lower than 18.

    Due to the decline in production, rapeseed exports in 2020/22 are expected to be only 7 million tons, which is lower than the 9.
