Carnegie Clean Energy has completed the construction
of a 10 MW Northham solar farm in Western Australia.
At present, the power plant is currently in the commissioning phase, and part of the electricity has been supplied to the grid
.
Once the required tests are successfully completed, the solar project will be fully operational in the coming weeks
.
The project includes around 34,000 solar panels built on 25 hectares of strategic land that will provide approximately 24,000MWh of electricity
per year over the next 25 years.
The system, a utility-scale battery storage, is EPC JV's first large-scale solar project
delivered between Energy Made Clean, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carnegie Clean Energy, and real estate and infrastructure company Lendlease.
The solar farm is owned
by Carnegie, Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) and Bookitja.
