    by iteratively eliminating or modifying certain strains to determine which strains are particularly endowed with protection.

    They identified several key bacteria and plan to conduct further studies to narrow down to the most critical species

    Fischbach believes that hCom2 or its future versions will enable similar reductionist studies to reveal bacterial formulations involved in other fields, such as immunotherapy responses
