On February 24, Chery New Energy held a groundbreaking ceremony for its annual output of 60,000 aluminum alloy skeleton body pure electric passenger car project

The project is planned to cover an area of 338 acres, with a total investment of 1.
56 billion yuan, and will be constructed
in two phases.
The first phase is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2016, initially reaching an annual production capacity of 10,000 pure electric vehicles, and the second phase will be completed by the end of 2017, reaching an annual output of 60,000 pure electric passenger cars

Gao Lixin, general manager of Chery New Energy Company, introduced that the first pure electric vehicle product put into production in the project is a new small SUV model
under development.
