China has formulated national standards for the first time in the field of wind power equipment lubrication

Recently, the National Standardization Committee successively issued four national standards for "special lubricants for wind turbines", which will be officially implemented
from October 1 this year.
This is the first time that China has formulated a national standard in this field, which will play a positive role
in the healthy development of the domestic wind power equipment industry.

In the past 10 years, under the strong promotion of national policies, the wind power industry has flourished, and China has cultivated a number of equipment manufacturing enterprises with independent intellectual property rights and core technologies, and the localization rate of wind power equipment has reached more than
90%.

Because most wind turbines are located in remote areas in the field, affected by external conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, sand, and salt corrosion, lubrication is crucial
to the normal operation of mechanical components and the extension of equipment life.
Previously, China lacked relevant standards in the field of wind power equipment lubrication, resulting in low manufacturing thresholds for wind power special lubricants, chaotic brands, and uneven
product quality.
In the manufacture and operation of wind power equipment, professionals who understand lubrication are also rare, and improper use of lubrication products has brought a lot of losses and troubles
to the industry.

These four national standards were initiated by Anshan Haihua Oleochemical Co.
, Ltd.
, a leading enterprise in the field of special lubrication in China, and approved by the Secretariat of the Petrochemical Standards Committee of the National Standards Committee in 2012, jointly formulated
by the company together with Sinopec Lubricants Company, China Water Conservancy and Electric Power Materials Co.
, Ltd.
, China Petroleum Lubricants Branch and Shenyang University of Technology Wind Energy Technology Institute.
In March this year, the four standards were approved and released by the State Administration of Quality Supervision and the National Standards Commission, entering the announcement stage, which also opened a precedent
for private enterprises to take the lead in drafting national standards in the petrochemical field.

For example, the service life of a famous foreign brand of wind power lubrication products has been increased from 5 years to 7, and the price of many "foreign brand" wind power lubrication products has been reduced by more than
40% in the past year.

Experts believe that wind power equipment as an emerging industry, the successive formulation of relevant standards will greatly increase the right of Chinese enterprises in this field and negotiation chips
with foreign manufacturers.
In addition, standards also have the role of
guiding enterprises to improve quality.
After China introduces the lubrication standard for wind power equipment, grease enterprises will improve product quality according to the standard, and wind power users can also choose suitable products according to their own conditions to save costs
