    Recently, China's first MW-level flywheel energy storage power supply was successfully developed by Tsinghua University and Sinopec Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering Co.

    It is understood that the development task of large-capacity flywheel energy storage power source comes from the national science and technology support plan project "Research and Demonstration of Key Technologies for Large-scale Mechanical Energy-Electric Energy Conversion and Recycling", which aims to provide efficient and frequent charging and discharging energy storage power
    for the energy recovery and peak shaving application of the new energy-saving rig hybrid system.

    The charging power of flywheel energy storage power supply is 200-300kW, the discharge power is 500-1000kW, the total energy storage is 16kWh, and the charging and discharging cycle working speed is 1200-2700-1200rpm

    The flywheel energy storage power supply adopts alloy steel metal flywheel (linear speed 226m/s), permanent magnet levitation vertical shafting system (magnetic bearing bearing bearing 50000N), permanent magnet motor and angle recognition motor control technology
    based on back EMF information.
