China invested 10.9 billion yuan to build two more 1000 kV UHV AC projects

State Grid of China announced here on the 24th that the State Grid Fuzhou-Xiamen, Zhumadian-Wuhan 1000 kV UHV AC project (hereinafter referred to as: Fuzhou-Xiamen project, Zhumadian-Wuhan project) started construction, which will be added to China's UHV map.

The Fuzhou-Xiamen and Zhumadian-Wuhan projects have a total investment of 10.

The two projects provide strong power guarantee for the regional economic and social development

The project will also promote clean and low-carbon transformation of energy and help achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals

Accelerating the construction of UHV projects can effectively stimulate the development of upstream and downstream enterprises and drive economic growth with a multiplier effect

At present, the State Grid has built a total of 29 UHV projects
