Recently, the first underwater robot project of China Southern Power Grid Peak Regulation and Frequency Regulation Power Generation Co.
, Ltd.
completed the final acceptance, which is the first robot in China that can detect long-distance navigation in underwater tunnels, which can check the safety hazards of hydraulic facilities, provide support for subsequent underwater operations, greatly reduce the cost of power plant safety inspection, and ensure the safe and reliable operation
of the power grid.
It is understood that the project was completed from September 2014 to June 2018, lasting 3 years and 8 months
.
During the research and development of the project, after the process of scheme design, technical design, prototype development, product debugging and improvement, lake test and factory acceptance, on-site acceptance test, engineering testing and application, the underwater robot was applied in the marine storage power plant, Tianshengqiao power plant and guangshu power plant under the jurisdiction of China Southern Power Grid Peak Regulation and Frequency Regulation Power Generation Co.
, Ltd.
, which effectively verified the functions, reliability and practicality
of the whole system.
The underwater robot has the functions
of remote control ROV, optical fiber release remote control return to home and cable-free autonomous return to home AUV.
Among them, many technologies such as underwater voltage conversion of high-voltage and small-volume transformers, kilometer-level water depth environment operation, automatic escape in distress and autonomous return to home are the first in China, and the subsequent project will be successively promoted and applied to the daily inspection of underwater buildings and equipment of pumped storage power stations and conventional hydropower stations
