China's "cornucopia" achieves all clean energy supply during the day

Meng Hai, the governor of Haixi Prefecture of Qinghai Province, stated at the Seventh Session of the 14th National People's Congress of the State on the 25th that the Qaidam area will achieve all clean energy during the day.

Haixi Prefecture is located in the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

China’s State Grid Qinghai Province electricity statistics show that since the 13th Five-Year Plan, Qinghai Haixi New Energy has developed rapidly and has become the largest power source in Haixi, accounting for 91.

Meng Hai said that since the "13th Five-Year Plan", the regional GDP of the whole prefecture on the west side of the Taiwan Straits has increased from 44 billion yuan (RMB, the same below) in 2015 to 61.
