China's first nuclear technology manufacturing innovation center will be established in Sichuan

On April 6, CNNC and the Sichuan Provincial Government jointly discussed the establishment of the "Sichuan Nuclear Technology Manufacturing Innovation Center"
in Beijing.

Under the new situation of the country promoting the in-depth development of the military-civilian integration industry, the Sichuan Nuclear Technology Manufacturing Innovation Center will create a cross-border collaborative innovation ecosystem by strengthening the research and development of cutting-edge and common technologies in the nuclear technology industry, promoting the incubation and first commercial application of nuclear technology products, comprehensively enhancing the competitiveness of China's nuclear technology manufacturing industry, driving the upgrading of high-tech manufacturing, and highlighting the core competitiveness
of the country according to the needs of an innovative country, energy structure optimization and upgrading and nuclear science and technology progress.

The Nuclear Technology Manufacturing Innovation Center plans to rely on the advantages of nuclear technology and manufacturing capabilities of Sichuan Province and CNNC, and rely on CNNC's China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute to gather the resources of important nuclear-related research institutes, universities and enterprises in China

It is understood that Sichuan Province is China's leading nuclear power industry province, with more than 30 scientific research, colleges and universities, manufacturing enterprises, etc.
