On December 27, after one year of research and development, the ZJ30DC side drilling super energy storage drilling rig scientific research project organized and implemented by Sinopec Zhongyuan Petroleum Engineering Company was put into industrial test
in the Hu 68-side 4 well of Zhongyuan Crude Oil Field.

Compared with traditional drilling rigs, ZJ30DC side drilling super energy storage drilling rig applies potential energy recovery technology, super capacitor energy storage technology and DC microgrid power supply technology to achieve fuel cost savings, noise level reduction, safety performance improvement, and worker labor intensity reduction

It is reported that the ZJ30DC side drilling super energy storage drilling rig is at the advanced level at home and abroad, and the simultaneous application of three technologies of super capacitor energy storage, DC microgrid and potential energy recovery to petroleum equipment is the first and has good development prospects
