China's first waste grease olefin project will be built

: Central Plains Petrochemical recently announced that the country's first waste oil preparation bio-based olefin technology development project has been officially settled in the company, the project will start construction in the near future. The project is conducive to reducing environmental pollution and social harm, but also the Central Plains Petrochemical structural adjustment, the implementation of transformation and development of a major initiative.

On March 6, Sinopec's Ministry of Science and Technology reviewed the development project of waste oil preparation bio-based olefins completed by Enze Biomass Fine Chemical Beijing Key Laboratory of Beijing Petrochemical Institute and Jiangxi Xufeng Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. The results show that the yield of ethylene can reach 37% to 40%, propylene yield of 17% to 19%, and 1,3-butane yield of 7% to 8%, which fully shows that bioane is a high-quality lysate raw material. The experts believe that the preparation of olefins from waste grease has opened up a new way of oil utilization, broadened the source of ethylene raw materials, has better social and economic benefits, and suggested that the industrial experiment of bioanefin cracking olefins should be carried out as soon as possible.
