The Voice of Galicia reported that in January 2019, Yipin Dairy acquired Oviganic Ibérica, a company owned by Euroserum Ibérica, which was once controlled by French capital.
In February this year, Yipin Dairy invested 16 million euros to modernize and upgrade Oviganic Ibérica to expand its production scale.
In addition, Oviganic Ibérica will also start a new production line to produce high-end milk powder for infants.

It is reported that Oviganic Ibérica has recently cooperated with Leite Noso to jointly acquire Queserías Prado, another local cheese company.
Leite Noso is a private enterprise established by a Galician farmer.
The company has long been supplying the market with boxes of milk under the two brands of Deleite and Muuu.

The cheese company acquired this time is called Queserías Prado, which was founded in 1982 and is also located in the same industrial zone.
It is a small family business with an annual turnover of approximately 6 million euros before the epidemic, specializing in the production of fresh cheese (Quesos tierno), Gouda cheese (Queso gouda) and Tetilla cheese of the local origin brand.

The formal acquisition agreement came into effect on March 31.
The three parties did not announce any economic statements, but the agreement has promised that the positions of 25 employees in the Queserías Prado factory will continue to be retained, and the original suppliers, partners and sales channels will remain constant.

It is worth mentioning that Oviganic Ibérica currently has 55 employees and is located in the same area as the Queserías Prado production facility acquired by it.
In the future, the two parties will cooperate and innovate to increase the production capacity and supply of Queserías Prado.
