With the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (approval number: 22125402, 22004023), the research group of Li Lele of the National Center for Nanoscience has made progress

To this end, the team developed an enzymatic signal amplification method that uses enzyme molecules specifically distributed within inflammatory cells to trigger signal amplification reactions, realizing the spatial resolution amplification of the target mRNA detection signal in inflammatory cells, and then early diagnosis and real-time dynamic monitoring of the inflammatory site (Figure).

This method provides a new tool for in vivo sensitive detection and imaging of inflammation-related mRNAs, which is expected to be used for the early diagnosis of inflammation-related diseases and the real-time monitoring and evaluation
