Granulocyte extracellular DNA nets (extracellular traps, ETs) are more likely to cause the body's stress response than general extracellular DNA fragments
    .

Current research shows that neutrophil extracellular DNA nets (neutrophil extracellular traps, NETs) play an important role in infections, tumors, autoimmune diseases and other inflammation-related diseases

The research team observed a large amount of extracellular DNA structure in the alveolar lavage fluid of asthma patients, and further analysis revealed that its main source was not neutrophils, but eosinophils
    .

Using a variety of neutralizing antibody screening technologies, thymic stromal lymphopoietin neutralizing antibody can effectively inhibit the formation of eosinophil extracellular DNA network (eosinophil extracellular traps, EETs) in the lungs

The study found that EETs promote the interaction of the nerve-immune system, drive the progress of asthma, and release neuropeptides through pulmonary neuroendocrine cells, aggravate the mechanism of asthma inflammatory response and pulmonary immune imbalance (Figure 1), and provide potential targets for asthma treatment Point
