    With funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (61974050, 61725505, and 61905266), associate professor Ye Lei of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and researcher Hu Weida from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have made progress in the research of storage-computing integrated devices


    New neuromorphic circuits have broad application prospects in fields such as autonomous driving, image recognition, speech processing, intelligent prediction, brain-computer interfaces, and the Internet of Things


    Focusing on this problem, a collaborative team such as Associate Professor Ye Lei and Researcher Hu Weida took a different approach and constructed a new type of homogenous transistor-memory device structure by using the physical mechanism of two-dimensional materials and the close neighbor coupling of the ferroelectric substrate


    This research work is expected to further promote the development of new neuromorphic hardware based on two-dimensional materials, which has important academic significance and application prospects
