Church told the News of the Year that his life has been devoted to a range of different genetic sequencing methods, as well as a series of different methods of gene editing.

Chuchi launched the Personal Genome Project in the United States in 2005, hoping to recruit 100,000 individuals from around the world and share their genetic data to answer the question of why humans suffer from all kinds of diseases, or not. The key to
this goal is the integration and sharing of data, a common human treasure.

China is the first country in Asia to launch a personal genome program.
