Circular of Hunan Provincial Administration for Market Supervision on the Sampling Inspection of 738 Batches of Food Safety (Issue 40, 2022)

Recently, the Hunan Provincial Administration for Market Supervision has organized the implementation of food processing products, condiments, dairy products, beverages, convenience foods, canned food, frozen drinks, quick-frozen foods, potatoes and puffed foods, candy products, tea and related products, alcohol, vegetable products, fruit products, fried foods and nut products, egg products, cocoa and roasted coffee products, pastries, soy products, bee products, special dietary foods, catering foods, food additives, edible agricultural products and edible oils, 738 batches of samples of 25 major categories of food, such as oils and fats and their products, carried out food safety sampling inspection, and according to the inspection and judgment of food-related standards, 722 batches of samples were qualified and 16 batches of samples were unqualified

food safety standards.

 

(8) The old mung bean popsicles, coliform bacteria and total number of colonies produced and sold by Liuyang Xiaohaha Food Factory do not meet the national
food safety standards.
Liuyang Xiaohaha Food Factory raised objections to the sampling process and inspection methods, and after verification, its objections were not recognized

(9) The steamed buns (fermented noodle products) and sodium saccharin (based on saccharin) sold by Yongji Nursing Home in Yuhua District, Changsha City do not meet the national
food safety standards.

 

(10) The pike crab (sea crab) and cadmium (calculated as Cd) items sold in Yanling County cuttlefish fresh supermarket do not meet the national
food safety standards.

 

(11) The Roche shrimp (freshwater shrimp) and cadmium (in Cd) items sold by Ding Guoping Seafood Store in Yunxi District do not meet the national
food safety standards.

 

(12) The eggplant, cadmium (calculated as Cd) items sold in Liling Tianyuan Fresh Store do not meet the national
food safety standards.

 

(13) The sea bass (freshwater fish), furazolidone metabolites and enrofloxacin items sold by the Seafood Wholesale Department of Shaoshan City do not meet the national
food safety standards.

 

(14) The eggplant and cadmium (calculated as Cd) items sold by Liu Zaixing in the Xianghao Farmers Market in Qionghu Street, Yuanjiang City, did not meet the national
food safety standards.

 

(15) The yellow bone fish (freshwater fish) sold by Hunan Tongcheng Jiahui Commercial Co.

Xingsha store, Enrofloxacin project does not meet the national food safety standards

For the unqualified food found in the sampling inspection, the market supervision departments in Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Shaoyang, Yiyang, Yueyang, Loudi, Huaihua and other places have organized verification and disposal, urged food producers and traders to take measures such as removing from shelves, sealing and recalling unqualified products to control risks, and strictly deal with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with the law; The relevant market regulatory departments shall promptly disclose
to the public the risk prevention and control measures and verification and disposal measures adopted by relevant food producers and traders.
